Doug Spearman’s Acting Class is a weekly, ongoing scene study for actors who want to keep growing and stay connected to the work. Through scene work and exercises like cold readings, improvisation, and environmental work with a crisis, actors learn how to break down scripts, understand character, and find truthful, playable moments. The class is challenging but supportive, with a strong emphasis on preparation, respect, and community—creating a space where actors can take risks, build confidence, and support one another both inside and outside the classroom.
